Amit Bindra is a partner with The Prinz Law Firm, P.C. , a boutique employment and business legal practice. He was one of the lead architects of the amendments to the Illinois Freedom to Work Act, which impacted the enforcement of non-compete and non-solicitation clauses. He has experience in employment law, including restrictive covenants, trade secret cases, employment and severance agreements, whistleblower matters, arbitration clauses, wage and hour lawsuits, and employment discrimination. He advises C-suite executives, physicians, hedge fund managers, and businesses to find creative and pragmatic solutions.
Amit taught as an adjunct professor at Loyola University Chicago School of Law, completed the Certificate Program in Mediation Skills Training from the Northwestern University School of Professional Studies in 2021, has several publications, has been quoted by various media outlets, co-hosts a podcast, and was recognized by Crain’s Chicago Business among its list of “Notable Rising Stars in the Law.” In addition to being a member of the Governing Board of Chicago Debates, Amit is a member of numerous other professional organizations.
