Loyola University School of Law Donates Valuable Resources to the CDL

The CDL has enjoyed a new, world-class venue for its Saturday training seminars this year at the Loyola University Chicago School of Law. Teachers receiving professional development and students working on their debate knowledge have honed their craft in the lecture halls and conference rooms of the beautiful Philip H. Corboy Law Center on the Water Tower Campus, at 25 E. Pearson St., thanks to the generous efforts of Dean David Yellen and Mary Bird, Director of Public Service Programs.

“At a time when universities understandably attempt to generate revenues from renting their space, Loyola Law’s generous provision of these valuable seminar rooms to the CDL at no charge, over many years, has become an extremely important contribution to our effective programming,” remarked Les Lynn, Executive Director of the CDC. “We are tremendously appreciative.”
