Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle was honored with the Champion of Debate award. In addition to the award presentation, the luncheon also featured four top student debaters from the CDL in an exhibition debate on this year’s debate topic, transportation infrastructure. Tracy Carson, a CDL alumna, gave a moving reflection on the transformative impact of debate participation on her life.
Thanks to all of our luncheon sponsors.
